The post holder will have a pivotal role within the neuro service, working collaboratively with their Team leader, their Band 6 Colleagues, Matron, Neurosurgery and Neuro Anaesthetic Clinical Leads.

What we?re looking for

We are seeking candidates with extensive experience in Neuro Theatres as well as adult and paediatric Neuro Interventional Radiology/General Interventional Radiology, however, the latter is desirable and not essential. We are also looking for proven people management skills. You must be dynamic, forward-thinking, and demonstrate solid, innovative leadership styles and skills in an environment that is constantly changing. In addition to a can-do attitude, it is essential to possess outstanding communication, decision-making, and motivational skills. You will be required to demonstrate ongoing professional development, a strong commitment to developing others, and an in-depth understanding of how to enhance and provide safe, high-quality care to patients and their families. Possibilities within the position to assume the role of Lead Practitioner. The successful applicant will be required to cover all shift patterns (Early, Late, and Night Shifts) as well as ad hoc on-calls, if necessary. In addition, the successful candidate will receive additional training to scrub across Neurosurgery and Neuro-Angio cases once the 24/7 stroke service is established.
